Cheney Congregational Church

On Sunday, Feb. 18, Cheney Congregational Church invites the community to join us in celebrating our 137th birthday. Our Church was founded above a saloon on First Street in Cheney. We have a proud history in the Congregational faith which has always been independent and progressive and was brought to America by the Pilgrims. Congregationalists opposed slavery before the Revolutionary War and ordained the first woman pastor in North America. To celebrate there will be cake and conversation following the 10 a.m. worship service.
