Famed comedian Jay Leno comes to Northern Quest

American comedian, actor and most notably television host Jay Leno will bring his laugh-out-loud humor to Northern Quest Resort & Casino's Pend Oreille Pavilion for two shows on Sunday, May 6. Show times are 4 and 7 p.m., with tickets going on sale Saturday, Jan. 27.

A Primetime Emmy Award winner, People's Choice favorite and late-night legend, Leno has been influencing American comedy and media since the 1970s. His career in comedy started in the mid-1970s with minor acting roles on shows such as "Good Times" and "Laverne and Shirley," along with multiple appearances as a stand-up comedian on "The Tonight Show" with host Johnny Carson and "The Late Show with David Letterman."

In 1992, Leno struck a deal with NBC and became Carson's successor as the host of NBC's The Tonight Show where he remained until 2009. He returned as the host from 2010 until 2014 when Jimmy Fallon took over the reins. 

Along with his stand-up comedy routines, Leno is a mastermind with automobiles, whether vintage or new. He currently hosts "Jay Leno's Garage," an hour long special on CNBC, and owns close to 300 vehicles and motorcycles combined.
