CHS senior all-nighter hosts fundraiser at Northern Quest

The Cheney High School senior all-nighter committee is hosting another fundraiser to help raise money for the event at the end of the school year.

The next fundraiser is Texas Hold ‘Em Night at Northern Quest Resort and Casino on Feb. 10 at 5 – 10 p.m.

For $50, participants receive $5,000 in chips and get to play in a poker tournament taking place from 6 – 10 p.m. With the buy-in fee of $50, they can also spend another $20 for re-buys and add-ons for $3,000 in chips.

Along with the card playing, there will be a silent auction starting a 5:15 p.m. and it doesn’t require a ticket to come bid on items.

“This is going to be a really fun opportunity, not only to enjoy yourself with friends playing games and socializing, but to support the kids in your community,” April Stark, the organizer of the event said. “We’d love to see you there,”

Due to alcohol being served, minors will not be allowed at the event with only a few seniors helping out in the first hour to help with people purchasing buy-backs.

There is also a special hotel room event rate for $199, which is valid only for the poker event participants.

To purchase tickets, email April Stark at april@pacificnwqualifier.org.

This is not the senior all-nighters first event as they have also hosted a Santa breakfast, the Powder Puff football game and served concessions at every home game so far this year. To contact the committee, email san2018cheney@hotmail.com
