Cheney Police Department investigators have arrested four individuals suspected of having taken part in an assault and robbery at The Grove apartment complex last October.

According to the report, Cheney dispatch received two 9-1-1 hang-up calls around 1:26 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, on the 200 block of Cheney-Spangle Road. Capt. Rick Campbell said additional calls indicated a fight in progress near the complex’s Building 8.

The only individuals remaining onsite when officers arrived were victims who said they had been assaulted and robbed of jewelry and some cash.

A subsequent Cheney investigation led to the Thursday, Dec. 28 arrests of Emmanuel E. Tensley, Jeremiah Lewis, Kierra F. House and Mikia T. Bryant-Mueller. All of them are 18 years old and are each charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and first-degree theft.

Campbell said all four have addresses in the city of Spokane.
