A child's toy truck sits on a transformer at the site of the Viewacres development in southwest Cheney. Work on the new subdivision has ceased for the season, but once resumed will extend Ridgview Drive and provide 28 new homes along the ridge line with views of Cheney to the east and rolling fields to the west.
