Leanard Eugene Frerichs

On Nov. 7, 2017, Leanard Eugene Frerichs, 82, walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior. He was born on May 23, 1935 to Edward and Thelma (Davis) Frerichs. Leanard joins his beloved wife, Vera; youngest son, Donald; granddaughter, Rachel (Donald and Alice) and best buddy and brother, Charles (Butch) and other family in Heaven.

He is survived by his two sisters, Joyce Bren and Judith Estes; oldest son, Duane (Rosanna) Frerichs; two daughters, Vickie (Keith) Thompson and Connie (Paul) Fuchs; daughter-in-love, Alice (Donald) Frerichs; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Leanard lived 75 years in Sprague, Wash. During his time he served in the U.S. Army, operated a small farm, the Highway Garage and worked at the Sprague Grange Supply and for Gary Wollweber Farms.

Leanard lived his life by being a Godly man, loving, generous, caring, devoted, joyful and patriotic. A graveside service was held Nov. 11 in the Sprague Macabee Cemetery. Cheney Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Visit the online guestbook at cheneyfuneral.com.
