CHS holds Powder Puff football game to benefit All-Nighter

Set aside Thursday, Nov. 16 for some football fun

Even though football season is over for many high schools, there is one last game that is still going to be played in Cheney. The Powder Puff football game, which is a fundraiser for Cheney High School’s senior all-nighter, will be played under the lights of Tom Oswald Field on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

This is not the typical football game as the competition will be flag football with 11th grade girls versus 12th grade girls. Since boys are not the ones playing, they will be on the sideline as cheerleaders in the roles reversed competition.
