Bailey Langenheder, a Cheney 12-year-old, has qualified to compete in the Junior National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nev., Dec. 7–16. Langenheder will be competing in barrel racing on her mount “Moose” that she trained.
To raise funds for traveling to Junior NFR, Langenheder has donation canes in businesses in Cheney and Airway Heights.
The public is also invited to an all-you-can-eat spaghetti feed on Nov. 18, at noon at 24424 W. Thorpe Road in Medical Lake to help raise funds for the trip. The cost is just $5, with kids ages 5 and under free.
