The Cheney Future Farmers of America held its annual alumni fundraising dinner and auction Saturday, Oct. 21. Typically staged at the Cheney Rodeo Grounds event pavilion, it has grown so much that this year's event took place at the Shriner's Event Center on Westbow Boulevard near the Geiger exit off Interstate 90.
Fundraiser organizer Terri Marlin said after expenses, the event brought in approximately $10,000 for FFA. Next year's event is already scheduled for Oct. 6, so mark your calendars now.
