Rachael K. Parker

Rachael K. Parker, 33, of Long Beach, Calif. passed away Oct. 2, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Rachael was born Dec.16, 1983 in Spokane Wash., and was a graduate of Cheney High School, class of 2002. She attended Eastern Washington University for one year before moving to California. While in California, she worked with the Manhattan Beach Police Department as a records technician, and also earned a BA in Sociology. She was with the police department for 10 years.

Rachael loved her two rescue dogs, traveling and her volunteer work with the elderly. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her mother, Robin Monter and her stepfather Drew and father, Collin Parker; step brothers, Justin and Tyrell Monter and their wives. Sisters, Christine Katz and Sara Arrojas and their husbands; grandmother, Kathleen Chinen; niece Chloe and nephew Sam, along with Alivia, Kamdyn, Colbie, Kaydee and Haylee; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her many dear friends and police family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humanes Society in her memory. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Cheney Middle School auditorium.
