Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday. Pastor Everett Arnold will preside. You may also watch our pastor’s sermons on our website at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney. Christian education will resume in September.

Lutheran Community Services Northwest will present their annual 8 Lakes Leg Aches scenic bike ride on Saturday, Aug. 5 that will begin and end at Kaiser Permanente on Sunset Hill. There are a 30, 45, and 75-mile course. For more information, contact Christie McKee at (509) 343-5020.

All are welcome to visit Emmanuel’s Little Free Library and Free Community Pantry located at 639 Elm St. Donations of books, non-perishable food and personal care items are always accepted. Both are open to the community 24/7. Thank you for your continued support.

Four Lakes Community Church

We are a non-denominational Village Missions Church. We exist to exalt the Lord, to educate and edify the saints and evangelize the lost. All are welcome.

Our upcoming sermon series will be on Ephesians 4:1-6 entitled “Living Up to the Call” by pastor Sean Carney. Our Worship Services combine contemporary choruses and traditional hymns.

Join us for Wednesday music practice at 6:30 p.m. and Friday men’s breakfast and Bible study at 7 a.m. VBS will be July 31 – Aug. 4.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit.

Our community garden is growing and the vegetables are ripening. We look forward to all summer giving its proceeds to the Cheney Food Bank.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

United Methodist Church

Join us for “Sunday School Lessons All Grown Up” with pastors Alissa Bertsch Johnson and Pat Sleeth continuing a sermon series this week at the United Methodist Church. The story of Zaccheaus will be explored during this week’s service.

Vacation Bible School is here. Beginning Sunday evening Aug. 6 and running through Aug. 10. Every evening will begin with a family meal at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program, “Passport to Peru.” Fun, games, and fellowship are all part of VBS.
