Lecture to demonstrate how Washington ‘rocks’
Dr. Eugene “Gene” Kiver, Eastern Washington University professor emeritus of geology, will give a free public lecture based on his latest book “Washington Rocks” on Monday, March 27 from 7-9 p.m. at the Lair Auditorium, Building 6, at Spokane Community College, 1810 Greene St. The lecture is presented by the Cheney/Spokane Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute and sponsored by SCC’s Department of Science and Jackie Scholz State Farm Insurance in Cheney.
