From left to right: Medical Lake High School's Brandon Scheer, Gabriel Mangione and Nick Isherwood received soloist awards May 13 for their performances at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in February. Medical Lake High School's jazz band earned an Outstanding Jazz Ensemble Award" at the festival. Also, the MLHS marching band took first place in the A Division at the May 7 Wenatchee Apple Blossom Parade.
