As the Advent season continues, Cheney UCC invites you to join us for services, lead by pastor David Krueger-Duncan. This Sunday, Dec 13, our lesson is about the tree. The supple pine tree is filled with the light of the world and is surrounded with gifts of charity, justice and peace. We will explore how this takes the place of the ancient tradition of tying the heads of our enemies into the branches of Thor’s Oak. Special music will be provided by saxophonist Steve Friel.
