Cheney United Church of Christ

Visitors and guests this summer will find a warm welcome at Cheney UCC. Join us any Sunday at 10 a.m. for regular services. Nursery care for infants and toddlers is provided from 9:45 - 11:15 a.m. Sunday School classes are on vacation for the summer.

The process of preparing the new church constitution continues. The third of three open meetings to discuss this document will be held this Sunday, June 29, starting at 11:40 a.m. Members and friends are urged to attend this meeting in order to better understand the proposed changes from the church’s previous governing documents.

All congregants should also fill out a media release form for use in producing the church web page and Facebook page. We understand that there may be some people (especially children) whose images should not appear on the Internet for legal or other reasons, and want to be sure that the wishes of our congregants are followed. Don’t forget to check out our new website at cheneyucc.wix.com/cheney-ucc.

Lastly, the annual congregational meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 13. It is important that all members of the Cheney UCC community keep this date in mind. At this meeting the congregation will decide whether or not to adopt the new constitution and will be asked to pass a budget for the coming year. Attendance is very important.
