May 19
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of Second Street. A wallet and its contents were taken.
Harassment was reported on the 2400 block of First Street.
A 14-year-old female was arrested on the 1100 block of First Street for third-degree theft/shoplifting. Energy drinks and junk food were taken.
A bicycle was found on the 200 block of K Street.
Officers responded to a medical injury/sudden death on the 300 block of J Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. A white bicycle was taken.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 500 block of Salnave Road. A book bag was taken from a vehicle.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. A pink bike was recovered.
May 20
Financial fraud/unauthorized use of a credit card was reported to the Cheney Police Department.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. A cell phone was taken.
There was a report of a lost money order on the zero hundred block of B Street.
May 21
Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of Sixth Street. A handgun was taken.
Jose A. Hernandez, 20, was arrested on the 600 block of Elm Street on a Department of Corrections escape warrant.
May 22
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.
A gray bicycle was found on the 600 block of Second Street.
An incorrigible juvenile was reported on 300 block of West First Street.
May 23
William F. Rowe, 47, was arrested on the 100 block of Nolan Brown Place for a misdemeanor warrant out of Airway Heights for third-degree driving while license is suspended/revoked.
Public indecency was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. The incident was referred to prosecutor’s office to consider charges.
May 24
Brenda L. Shannon, 46, was arrested on the 100 block of West First Street on a theft warrant out of Spokane Municipal Court.
Bruce W. Lien, 38, was arrested on the 100 block of Presley Drive for third-degree DWLS.
A mental health issue was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. The individual was voluntarily committed.
Corey J. Swan, 22, was arrested on the 1000 block of Betz Road for fourth-degree assault and obstruction stemming from a May 17 property damage accident on the 2300 block of First Street.
May 25
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. A purse was taken, then later recovered.
Domestic-violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane.
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street.
A civil dispute was reported on the 500 block of Second Street.
May 26
Police assisted another agency by taking a report on the 1000 block of Betz Road for a domestic-violence incident out of the city of Spokane.
Joshua J. Nason, 37, was arrested on the 400 block of South Cheney Plaza Road on a Department of Corrections warrant for escaping community custody.
An incorrigible juvenile was reported on the 100 block of Holladay Drive.
Residential burglary reported on the 800 block of Fourth Street. Nothing was taken, however there was damage done to gain entry.
MEDICAL LAKE
May 19
An agency assistance was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street. Officers helped locate a juvenile runaway. The juvenile was released to her parents.
A threat was reported on the 400 block of East Lake Street.
May 20
Malicious mischief was reported on West Brooks Road and East Highway 2. Railroad spikes were found on the train tracks.
Dead on arrival/natural causes was reported on the 600 block of East Lake Street.
May 21
Dale R. Carrithers, 25, was arrested on the 6600 block of South Brooks Road on a warrant for identity theft.
May 23
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1200 block of East Stanley Drive. The juvenile returned home later that day.
May 24
Attempted vehicle theft was reported on the 300 block of East Fellows Street.
May 25
Stephanie Meyer, 53, was arrested on the 7000 block of South Craig Road for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and second-degree trespassing.
May 26
An argument was reported on the 200 block of North Hallett Street. Both parties were contacted and there was no evidence of a crime.

May 21
Glen R. Dupey, 41, was arrested on Highway 2 and Deer Heights Road for third-degree DWLS.
Anthony J. Sims, 36, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for burglary.
May 22
A vehicle theft was reported on the 10600 block of 12th Avenue.
A traffic accident with damages was reported on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.
Ren R. Cowell, 51, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for first-degree burglary.
A traffic accident with injuries was reported on the 12800 block of West Highway 2.
May 23
Janice M. Sherwood, 55, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
John B. Suttle, 54, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Found property was reported on Sixth Avenue and Lawson Street.
Chris A. Espersen, 28, was arrested on Highway 2 and West Street for third-degree DWLS.
May 24
Incidents of fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief were reported on the 700 block of South Ziegler Street.
Tony M. Clark, 33, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for second-degree vehicle prowling and third-degree theft.
Michael Williams, 44, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for first-degree criminal trespass.
May 25
Third-degree theft was reported on the 12500 block of West 21st Avenue.
Candace M. Ellis, 44, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Allen M. Carver, 23, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft.
Fraud was reported on the 600 block of South King Street.
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 1800 block of South Pogue Street.
May 26
Lonnie L. Alford, 53, was arrested on Northern Quest Drive and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
Anthony W. Kilby, 41 was arrested on Northern Quest Drive and Hayford Road on a warrant for Department of Corrections escape.
May 27
Somer S. Studebaker, 33, was arrested on Northern Quest Drive and Hayford Road on a warrant for third-degree DWLS and for third-degree DWLS.
Serenity R. Oswald, 24, was arrested for Highway 2 and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
