Fairchild unveils new Wing Headquarters building

Fairchild Air Force Base held a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 20 to commemorate the opening of the new Wing Headquarters Building.

The new building will hold the offices of the 92nd and 141st refueling wings and replace the previous headquarters - affectionately referred to as "The White House,"

The old headquarters was constructed in 1943 and has hosted several commanders over the years. Over time, the building had several renovations and Col.
