StageWest wishes everyone a Merry Christmas

Letters to the Editor

StageWest Community Theatre has ended its brief but successful production of Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol.” We had a good turnout for our dinner theatre and all the patrons complimented Mike Hartman from Willow Springs Restaurant for the delicious food that he prepared, thank you Mike for your support.

One elderly man commented on how our performance brought back pleasant memories of the times that he spent at actual radio programs in his youth, another patron explained that she had never ever liked “A Christmas Carol” before but our performance gave it new meaning to her.

We would like to thank the following; Emmanuel Lutheran Church for the use of their building for our auditions, rehearsals and performances; our patrons that continue to support us and come to our performances; the businesses that support us by putting ads in our programs, donating gifts for our raffle baskets and helping us as they can; and most of all we would like to thank the families of our cast and crew who willingly give of their time to help us with props, setting up and tearing down and of course for their patience with all of us.

With the closing of 2013 we reflect back on the terrific year we have had and are looking forward to 2014 and bringing more live theatre to the West Plains. All of us at StageWest Community Theatre wish you all a very Merry Christmas and in the words of Tiny Tim “God Bless us everyone.”
