For a half and then some, last Saturday's Homecoming football game between Eastern Washington and Southern Utah had a certain sense of déjà vu to it.

It seemed eerily familiar to the 2012 contest between the two teams played in Cedar City where missed opportunities eventually cost the Eagles both the game, 30-27, and their No. 1 ranking in the Football Championship Subdivision.
