Diane Marie Stanley


Diane Marie Stanley (Betz), 57, passed away July 27, after bravely battling a very aggressive form of Multiple Myeloma for more than three years.

Diane was born in Spokane, Wash. Jan. 10, 1956 to Edward J. and Carol M. (Baker) Betz, and is preceded in death by her parents. Diane is survived by her husband Dan; her children, Andrew K. and Danielle A. (Stanley) Kousgaard of Warrensburg, Mo. and Mark P. and Rebecca D. (Stanley) Smith of Papillion; her granddaughter Audrey J. Kousgaard and brothers, David W. Betz of Cheney and Dale L. Betz of Gig Harbor, Wash.

Diane entered the United States Air Force in August 1977 and served her nation for seven years. She worked in the medical field for over 15 years, medically retiring from Nebraska Cancer Specialists in 2013.

Funeral services were held Aug. 2, at Heritage Hill Church of the Nazarene. Burial followed at Cedar Dale Cemetery in Papillion.
