Eastern Washington University senior Michael O’ Donnell will serve as the student member on the EWU board of trustees for the 2013-14 academic year. O’Donnell, who is set to graduate next June, was appointed to the eight-member board by Gov. Jay Inslee.
A graduate of Jenkins High School in Chewelah, Wash., O’Donnell is seeking a bachelor of arts in the School of Social Work, with a certificate in disability studies. The U.S. Army veteran is actively involved in helping the city of Cheney through community service, volunteering at the food bank and helping in the city’s annual cleanup efforts....
