Thanksgiving is right around the corner – and so is the fifth annual Turkey Trot. The two or three mile walk/run takes place at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, at the Cheney High School track for walkers/runners of all ages.
Entry fee is $5 or $20 including a long sleeve, cotton Trot T-shirt. Entries paying for shirts must be returned by Nov. 9.
Participants receive a ticket to win a turkey and other prizes. Entry forms are available at Cheney High School and the Cheney Free Press. Proceeds go to the Blackhawks cross country team and Cheney Food Bank. Donations to the food bank are welcome....
