EWU's theatre program presents ‘Lovers and Madmen' at Interplayers

Eastern Washington University's theatre program will have a special program Friday, July 20 at Interplayers Professional Theatre in Spokane.

“Lovers and Madmen” is a showcase performance of EWU's Summer Acting Intensive. For the past four weeks, college students have gone through rigorous actor/voice training with Linklater voice teacher Dianna Schoenborn. Schoenborn, a New York City voice teacher, has worked with numerous celebrities including Sam Rockwell and Ethan Hawke. She has an MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University and is in the process of becoming a Designated Linklater Teacher.

EWU Theatre department faculty Jeffrey Sanders and Sara Goff will also make special appearances on stage.

The performance costs $10, and begins at 7:30 p.m. July 20, in the Interplayers Professional Theatre at 174 S. Howard St.
