MLMS students pay visit to Washington, D.C.

Annual tour shows eighth grade students a glimpse into America's history

A group of 27 eighth grade students from Medical Lake Middle School travelled to the nation's capital and visited several historic sites and museums over spring break, April 2-7.

The trip was planned by seventh grade language arts teacher Dave Dormaier, who said this was the 11th time he's organized the annual tour originally thought up by former Medical Lake teacher Rich Tschirgi.
