Why doesn't she just f-f-f-fade away?
We all have someone or something we wish would fade away into the mists of history.
Someone or something of notoriety and fame, obnoxious and irritating, having long ago used up their 15 minutes of fame. You know the type: Michael Vick, Brittany Spears, reality TV shows, the Macarena.
Even those not so annoying, public figures we disagree with or dislike, we may harbor a secret wish for their withdrawal from the public arena. Judging from some of the primary ballot races, local residents must wish some politicians would retire from service.
