    By a really weird coincidence, Larry Weir now knows he reached a milestone Dec. 3 at KeyArena in Seattle. The long-time Eastern Washington University radio announcer called his 1,000th Eagle men’s basketball or football game that day, a fact which was discovered a day later by happenstance.     Cheney High’s boys basketball team is off to a 50-50 start in its 2017-2018 season. The Blackhawks opened with a 63-52 home win over Deer Park on Nov. 28, followed by a 59-50 loss last Saturday, Dec. 2, at Rogers.
