    Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are asking the public’s help locating 48-year-old Daniel L. Johnson who is suspected of binding an adult female, assaulting her and then shooting her.     Cheney High’s girls swimming team coasted to a 117-48 win over host Selah in dual-meet action last Thursday at Lion’s Pool in Yakima.     At first, this column was going to focus on what’s wrong with the NCAA’s targeting rule, enacted in 2008 to try and curtail escalating incidents of concussions and head and neck injuries that sidelined football players and in several instances ended their careers, severely.
