    The saga that is the Parkside Commons rezone request continues. After meeting in a closed-door session for 32 minutes at its April 25 meeting, the Cheney City Council reconvened in open session and voted 6-0 — Councilwoman Jill Weiszmann was absent — to approve a new resolution remanding the request back to the Planning Commission for further findings on the controversial request.
