Cheney Congregational Church

Pastor Dave Krueger-Duncan just returned from the Pacific Northwest Association of the larger, National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. Eight congregations from Alaska, Washington and Oregon met together for fellowship and to discern our way forward together.

This group will be hosted by the Cheney Congregation next year. As a group they voted to invite the National Association to meet in our region in 2021. Likely sites to meet are either here in Cheney or in the Tri-Cities area. This year our National Association meets in San Diego.

This Sunday we continue our series, “Reading My Bible.” We will undertake an honest consideration of the Biblical accounts of disagreements between key figures in the history of the Christian Church and Judaism before the advent of the Church. This Sunday will be the last time the choir sings until fall.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Sunday, June 3. Coffee hour follows the worship service. Christian education for grade school through adults begins at 9 a.m.

You may watch our pastor’s sermons on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney.

For your contemplation: “Let nothing disturb you, nothing dismay you. All things are passing, God never changes. Patient endurance attains all things...God alone suffices.” – St. Teresa of Avila.

United Methodist Church

Please worship with us this Sunday at the United Methodist Church as we celebrate Pentecost and welcome new members into the congregation. Pastor Alissa Bertsch will lead the service. Sunday school classes will meet this Sunday, June 3, and then recess for the summer.
