Two Medical Lake boy's pass sub-district test

A pair of Medical Lake boy’s golfers made the cut at last week’s sub-districts played at Chewelah.

Logan Dianda, who shot a 101 and good for 16th place, as well as Nick Mason whose 110 and 24th place, each made the cut for district play that took place May 14 at Liberty Lake Golf Course.

“The top-12 go to state so they have a big hill to climb,” head coach Gary Hartman wrote in an email.

For Medical Lake girl’s golf, Sierra Brock competed at districts in Chewelah and shot a score of 116 for the day. Her two day total (sub-districts and districts) was 219 and missed the cut by 16 strokes.
