Defense dominates Red-White

Paul Delaney

After a quick start by the White Team offense with a pair of early touchdowns, defense took over to dominate and shut out Team Red 17-0 in the annual Red-White Scrimmage April 28 at Roos Field. Team White's Zach Eagle got his team's first score, plus enough receiving and return yardage and was awarded the Iron Eagle award. Team White had a pair of interceptions to blunt Team Red drives and preserve the shutout in the game that concludes spring football practice at Eastern Washington University.
