CHENEY

April 16

Second-degree assault was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Trespassing was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

Child abuse/neglect was reported to the police department. The child lives in Cheney but the alleged abuse/neglect occurred in Oak Harbor. Cheney and Oak Harbor police departments are investigating.

April 17

A silver bicycle was found on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road.

An abandoned auto was towed on the 500 block of Bonnie Way. A 1990 silver Subaru Legacy, marked on April 3, was towed.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 700 block of Irene Place. Possible computer scam.

A cellphone was found on the 1100 block of Oakland Street.

Attempted suicide was reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Individual was involuntarily committed.

April 18

Chapman E. Wickenhagen, 24, was arrested for reckless endangerment in regards to a harassment incident reported on March 17 on the 300 block of First Street.

Second-degree burglary was reported on the 1100 block of First Street.

Joanne M. Debates, 40, was arrested on the 300 block of West First Street on two warrants out of Superior Court in Spokane. The first warrant was for 10 counts of identification theft and the second warrant was for second-degree theft.

A wallet was found on the 100 block of West Sixth Street.

April 19

Cash was found on the 900 block of First Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 2400 block of First Street. Mark R. Palmer, 19, was arrested for third-degree theft/shoplifting as well as a Spokane warrant for failure to appear on theft charges. Also arrested was Cole S. Rapp, 18, for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

Police assisted the Washington State Patrol with a traffic stop on Interstate 90 between the Four Lakes and Medical lake exits. Cheney officer was returning from Spokane and witnessed a vehicle driving east bound in the west bound lanes.

April 20

Police arrested a 15-year-old female at Cheney High School for minor in possession of alcohol.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane.

Police arrested two 15-year-old males at Cheney High School for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2800 block of Al Ogdon Way.

April 22

A 17-year-old female turned herself in and was arrested as a runaway on the 2800 block of First Street.

Mental health issues were reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. Individual was voluntarily committed.

A violation of a court order was reported on the zero hundred block of West Sixth Street.

Police assisted the Washington State Patrol on a driving under the influence stop on the 2700 block of First Street.

MEDICAL LAKE

April 17

Suspicious circumstances were investigated on the 300 block of East Herb Street.

A death was reported on the 300 block of North Sherman Avenue.

An assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

Prowl checks were conducted on the 1300 block of South Lefevre Street.

April 18

Disorderly conduct was reported on the 200 block of East Barker Street.

Abuse reports were made on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

Prowl checks were conducted on the 1300 block of South Lefevre Street.

Fraud was reported on the 1100 block of North William Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1000 block of East Lake Street.

A threat was investigated on the 800 block of Maple Street.

Domestic violence was investigated on the 300 block of South Jefferson Street.

April 19

Abuse was reported on the 200 block of North Stanley Street.

Abuse was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

A domestic violence gun surrender order took place on the 700 block of East Lake Street.

April 20

An abandoned vehicle was recovered on the 200 block of North Sherman Avenue.

An argument was reported on the 1000 block of North Howard Street.

April 21

Trespassing was reported on the 500 block of East Beverly Avenue.

April 22

An alarm was reported on the 700 block of East State Route 902.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at South Salnave Road and South Simpson Loop.
