The Medical Lake boys split a pair of Northeast A League tennis matches last week, losing to Chewelah 3-2 on March 27 but defeating Riverside 4-1 March 29. The Cardinals also lost a nonleague contest with Cheney, 4-1.
No. 1 singles Noah Ray collected three wins on the week, including the lone victory against Cheney. Kurtis and Bradley Kenady, playing No. 2 doubles, won twice.
In girls play, Medical Lake lost both matches, 5-0 to Chewelah and 3-2 to Riverside. Emily Zunker and Heather Barr won for the girls against Riverside.
