One hundred years ago in 1918, the Spokane Greenhouse was built over Marshall Creek. It used the water to run the coal-fired steam heat. The greenhouse supplied the Davenport Hotel, as well as many florists and hotels in Spokane with fresh flowers year-round. Learn more about our area’s history at www.cheneymuseum.org.
