After a brief battle with cancer, Janice Dow, beloved daughter, sister and aunt entered into her eternal rest on Jan. 13, 2018.
Janice was born on June 5, 1956 in Spokane, Wash. to Alvin and Marvel Dow. She worked for Eastern Washington University for 39 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially traveling to spend time with her sister Karen’s family all over the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Janice is survived by her sister Beverly Dow of Pullman, brothers Leland Dow, Jerry Dow, Barry Dow and sister Karen (Richard) Calvert all of Cheney, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Marvel in 1998, brother Ronnie and father Alvin, both in 2003. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 20 from 5 -- 7 p.m. at Cheney Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
