Cheney High School Future Business Leaders of America students Megumi Call (left) and Eva Rosa Perry pose with a $1,500 check from Spokane Teachers Credit Union presented to the club on Tuesday, Dec. 19, for their second-place finish in the annual "Hundred Dollar Project."

In a news release, STCU said students entering the project get $100 from the credit union to develop a plan to help a local charitable organization. Call and Perry used their money to stage a "Trick or Trot" fun run/walk at Halloween, raising $358 they then used to purchase professional clothing and provide low-income ind...
