Cheney Fire’s Candy Cane Ride Dec. 16
Santa will join Cheney firefighters in handing out candy canes and holiday cheer on the department’s annual “Candy Cane Ride” taking place Saturday, Dec. 16. The ride begins at 4:30 p.m. at the fire station downtown and winds its way through Cheney, eventually ending at the Safeway store parking lot at approximately 6:45–7:15 p.m.
Food donations will also be collected for the Cheney Food Bank. A map with approximate times when the ride will be in specific areas of Cheney is available at the city’s website.
