Students at Medical Lake Middle School were sent off on their annual Fund Run, Oct. 6, with help from the school's band. The music must have been good because according to Molly Cooke, MLMS language arts teacher, the effort raised almost $22,000, which broke the record of previous fund raising efforts by roughly $5,000.
