Cheney High girls soccer team did something last week that they had previously only forced their opponents to do: fail to find the goal.
The Lady Blackhawks struggled offensively last Tuesday at West Valley, hampered by the Eagles constant pressure while playing too slow to the ball, head coach Nels Radtke said. The result was a 1-0 loss, with the only goal coming in the 21st minute from West Valley midfielder/forward Chelsea Koker off an assist from Abby McConnell.
