Cheney police are asking the public to be on the look out for a suspicious individual who approached several young women at Salnave Park Tuesday evening, Oct. 17.
According to an email from Capt. Rick Beghtol, police received a report between 5-6 p.m. Tuesday from a citizen who noticed a male in his 30s with brown to black hair wearing baggy clothes going back and forth between the restrooms at Salnave Park and a vehicle in the parking lot. The woman was concerned because of the activity and the presence of young children playing soccer on the field.
