Parks and recreation offers events for everyone

The West Plains parks and recreation offices have been busy putting together seasonal events until the end of the year for our communities.

In Airway Heights, it starts with a new event, “Cooking with Cops,” taking place at Sunset Elementary School at 5:30 p.n. on Oct. 13. The event will be a way the community shows awareness of domestic violence along with a fundraiser for the C.A.R.E.S. scholarship fund at the parks and recreation department. Tickets are $10 for an adult, $5 for a child or $25 for a family of four.
