Medical Lake fall sports begin Friday with football

Medical Lake’s fall sports season gets underway with all four teams seeing action this week.

Football starts it all off on Friday, Sept. 1 at Holliday Field versus Kellogg (0-1) at 7 p.m. as second year head coach Mo Owen seeks to erase the memory of an 0-9 inaugural season for the Cards, who after a solid start versus Kellogg on the road (losing 29-24) scored just 23 points the rest of the season.

Owen noted that he sees definite improvement in both defense and offense in the initial portion of preseason camp.
