Roos eclipse experience

There was a long line for viewing glasses, but only several hundred available. Those who did get a pair, or brought their own, used them in a variety of ways: traditional or in front of a cellphone lens.

Others went old-fashioned and constructed a viewing box out of their favorite cereal container. Many utilized the club's telescopes with their cellphones or their eyes through a solar filter. A few went industrial with welder's masks, while some did creative things with cardboard.

No matter the viewing mechanism, everyone enjoyed the experience.
