On June 17, Cheney resident Brad Rasmussen was seriously injured after he was hit by a car while riding his bike. Rasmussen has deep roots in Cheney, as he is a teacher at Cheney High School and the head wrestling coach.
Since the accident, Rasmussen has been admitted into the St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Center and will be in a body brace for the next coming weeks. The community has started a Go Fund Me account for the family to help with medical costs.
