June 2
A 14-year-old male was arrested on the 700 block of Betz Road for second-degree assault.
June 5
A blue bicycle was found on the 600 block of Second Street.
Trevor V. Mally, 27, was arrested on the 900 block of First Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
Residential burglary was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.
Markell A. Parks, 19, was arrested on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spangle Road for racing.
Harassment was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
June 6
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1800 block of West Third Street. Lamp posts were spray painted.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane.
June 7
Police arrested Richard E. Boyd, 56, for first-degree theft for a financial fraud report taken June 1 on the 500 block of First Street.
Second-degree assault was reported on the 400 block of First Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. Graffiti was carved into structures in the Centennial Park play area.
Sandra M. Werner, 50, was arrested on the 1000 block of First Street on an Airway Heights warrant for domestic violence/fourth-degree assault.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of Second Street. Tools were taken.
A report of an attempted suicide was made from an undisclosed location in the city. Police eventually found the suspect walking along Cheney-Plaza Road in Spokane County.
June 8
Police assisted Adult Protective Services on a call on the 800 block of West First Street.
Possible child abuse/neglect was reported on the 800 block of West Third Street.
A 14-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of North Sixth Street as a runaway.
June 9
Police assisted the Washington State Patrol on a traffic stop on the 700 block of Seventh Street. Incident turned into a driving under the influence (DUI) stop, and the State Patrol conducted the arrest.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1300 block of Third Street.
Trespassing was reported on the 500 block of West Fifth Street.
Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1300 block of First Street. A window was broken.
Police responded to a report of a possible fight between young teens on the 1000 block of Salnave Road. Individuals could not be located.
Trespassing was reported on the zero hundred block of Columbia Street.
June 10
Police received a report of a possible fight with shots fired on the 100 block of Blackhawk Lane. Many people were seen leaving the area, but no indications of gunfire were discovered at the time. Police did recover several shell casings Monday morning,
June 11
Derek T. Weston, 26, was arrested on the 500 block of K Street for resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer.
A rape was reported on the 600 block of C Street. The victim said the incident occurred at a party somewhere between the 1400 and 1700 block of Second Street.
Trespassing was reported on the 600 block of First Street.
Arin S. Wise, 38, was arrested on the 600 block of First Street for third-degree DWLS.
Police received a report of a vehicle prowl, possible hit and run collision on the 200 block of Pine Street. Individual was intoxicated, stole a vehicle and backed into another vehicle in trying to leave the scene. Cheney police arrested Richard J. Carrillo, 19, for hit and run. The Washington State Patrol arrested Carrillo for DUI.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. A bicycle was taken.
June 12
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 800 block of Third Street. A car was damaged.

Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
June 6
Malicious mischief was reported on the 500 block of North Prentis Street.
Theft was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 700 block of East Carrie Drive.
Fraud was reported on the 600 block of South Grant Avenue.
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1000 block of North Prentis Street. The juvenile has not returned home.
