The Cheney High baseball team's 2017 season came to an end, May 20 in the second round of the 2A state playoffs where they lost to the Ellensburg Bulldogs. The Blackhawks had rocky regular season that led to an upswing where they won seven straight games – capturing the District 7 championship in the process.
