The Medical Lake Cemetery Association invites the community to a Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 29, at 9:30 a.m.

Veterans’ benefit raffle at Cheney Marketplace June 3
The veterans’ organization Time of Remembrance is holding a “Veterans’ Benefit Raffle” on June 3 at Cheney’s Marketplace Bakery & Eatery. The raffle takes place at 11 a.m. and you need not be present to win.
A “Date Night Bundle” worth $370 is being raffled, which includes dinner for two at Anthony’s in Spokane, movie pass for two at Village Centre Cinemas and a one-night stay in the Hampton Inn’s “Emerald Suite.”
Tickets are $2 each and can be purchase at Copy Junction locations in Cheney and Airway Heights and at the Marketplace in Cheney. Proceeds benefit local veterans and their families through the Time of Remembrance fellowship.
