Blackhawks fall to East Valley in regular season finale

Cheney High boys soccer coach Morgan Hartanov doesn't look at Monday's 2-1 shootout loss to East Valley as a failure. Rather, it's a positive step for the Blackhawks with the playoffs looming on their doorstep.

Hartanov said he tried a couple different things against the Knights, one of which was to move senior Trevor Babcock from defense to offense so he could connect with some fellow seniors he's been playing with "forever." The move worked.
