Medical Lake put an end to one span of paltry offense just to see another begin in last week's Northeast A League baseball play.
On the heels of a recent twin trouncing by Freeman, the King Kong's of the Northeast A League, Medical Lake did some hammering of their own, clubbing Colville 11-5 on April 18. But the offensive woes returned in losses to Chewelah 9-1 and 9-0 to close out the week, April 21 and 22.
"Based on expectations we have held serve," head coach Kerry Kelly said, referencing the tennis term. "We dropped four straight to the projected top-two teams."
