Medical Lake senior sprinter Lexi Rolan traveled to California to compete in the prestigious Arcadia Invitational track meet April 8, and turned in impressive performances, her coach said.
“I haven’t spoken with her, but on the website it shows that she finished fifth in her 100-meter heat in a time of 12.24 seconds,” head track coach Gene Blankenship reported. At one point, Rolan had the 16th fastest time of the day out of 38 entrants.
Rolan also raced in her other spring specialty, the 200-meters where she clocked a 25.07 and was 20th out of 38 runners at Arcadia High School east of Pasadena...
